Magic! That's what happened when we made an appeal to our customers, friends, acquaintances and strangers in early December. Namely, we had a wish. The wish to together be a bright spot in a very difficult time for the most vulnerable of all. Children with life-threatening illnesses.
While 2020 will not go down in the books as a jubilee year for anyone, it has been especially tough for these children. We all have wishes and most of us have the luxury of time. What if you are so young and don't have that time but still have a big wish? For those children, the Make-A-Wish Netherlands Foundation makes a concerted effort every day.
Thanks to you, the Service Station in Hilversum became a beacon of light. Nearly 300 lights were donated so we raised over 7,000 euros. This will allow three wishes of wish children to come true.
When we think of impact, we often think of big things, things that make the news or that are enormously complicated. We are extremely proud that together with you, just by many, we can do something small and simple to make a huge impact for these children.
