Pause to Move Forward

Sometimes the most valuable conversations don’t take place in a conference room, but around a long table. Last Thursday, together with Leeuwendaal, we welcomed a select group of healthcare executives to our Service Station in Hilversum for a private dinner centered on a topic that concerns many organizations: Leadership & AI.

AI is evolving faster than many organizations can keep up with. What does that mean for the choices you make today? And what does this era demand of leadership?

The evening was opened by our expert on the spirit of the times Niels Hansen, who shared his insights from his recent visit to SXSW, the world’s largest technology and innovation festival. Based on the Futurise® trend model He demonstrated how social and technological developments influence one another and what questions this raises for organizations and leaders who want to remain future-proof.

“An inspiring meeting with executives about the impact of AI and what this means for leadership. Inspiring and thought-provoking.” – Douwe Wijbenga, Director of Care, Leeuwendaal

Open discussions, probing questions, and relatable dilemmas then emerged around the table. The conversation centered on the opportunities and risks of AI, but above all on the human side of change. After all, technology ultimately calls for leaders who provide direction, create space, and stay the course in a world that is constantly changing.

With new insights, fresh perspectives, and valuable encounters, we look back on an inspiring evening. An evening that demonstrated how important it is to step back from the daily grind every now and then and explore together what the future demands of organizations and leaders alike. That is precisely where the value of this evening lay.
