Is your company ready for 2023?

Just imagine being an entrepreneur today and busy preparing for the new, mandatory 2023 EU regulations on sustainability. The regulations require companies to disclose in their annual reports the impact of their activities on people, the environment and society. This means insight into both financial business risks of sustainability, as well as risks to the physical environment. For many companies, this means that they have to work quickly in order to be ready and comply with this obligation by 2023.

How do you ensure that in addition to financial value creation, you can cause ecological and social value creation, or broad value creation, and implement that in your business? Some entrepreneurs are already working on it, some want to get started but don't know how. How can you boost your impact, which is helped by the new law? And how do you do that reporting? Is there a way to organize this in a low-threshold way for entrepreneurs?

During the event "Purpose Accounting online" on Feb. 3, the six business service providers of the Purpose Accounting Collective (PACC) discussed this during a talk show, led by talk show host and entrepreneur Lucas de Man. The PACC Collective consists of entrepreneurs who join forces to make it easy, accessible, entrepreneurial and fun for Dutch small and large companies to implement the opportunities of broad value creation.

The talk show highlighted many facets of broad value creation. From business strategy, responsible stewardship to accountable facts.
