LUNAR Free Minds Dinner
LUNAR Society - 250 years ago, the Lunar Society organized monthly inspirational dinners during the full moon in Birmingham, Great Britain. Free spirits from the worlds of art, science and business came together. Think Darwin, Wedgwood or James Watt. Their new thoughts and solutions to social challenges soon formed the basis for the industrial revolution.
LUNAR Institute is picking up this tradition again. Because even now it is important that thinkers and doers, from all disciplines and schools of thought, come up with solutions to the most pressing challenges. Our Free Minds Dinners are inspiring dinners where free minds from the worlds of business, art and culture come together.
With open minds, we develop answers for the challenges of the time. And that is what is needed again: answers, innovation and open minds.
During dinner there will be ample space to engage with the chief guest on leadership, social impact, the changing world and sustainability. From peace and space to engage deeper with each other and ask the real questions.

Nicole Freid, CEO HAK
We are very excited to announce that Nicole Freid will be our special guest this evening. Nicole has been with HAK since 2013 and has been CEO of HAK/Neerlands Glorie Groente & Fruit, which also includes HAK Fresh, Four Seasons Food and HAK Foodeko for several years.
In 2023, she made the step from marketing & innovation to managing director and has since been at the helm of an ambitious transformation: from a very Dutch traditional canning company to a European champion of modern ‘green convenience’ solutions. HAK is leading the way in sustainable cultivation and is investing heavily in this development, including the ambition to be completely organic by 2027.
At the same time, Nicole experiences daily the tension between making impact and ensuring financial continuity. As a leader, how do you deal with transformation and sustainability in a world that is simultaneously turbulent and unpredictable? How do you get all stakeholders on board? What do you preserve and what do you change? Nicole is happy to discuss these questions with you.
