From 11:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026 Rijkswaterstaat is conducting work on the A1. The highway is closed from the Eemnes interchange to the Muiderberg interchange in the direction of Amsterdam. The asphalt and joints are being replaced, and the road surface is being repaired, as are a number of engineering structures (bridges/viaducts).

So be sure to check your route carefully before visiting our Service Station.

Service Station Hilversum

Directions

By public transportation (NS station Hilversum)

Walking from Hilversum station you can reach us in about 15 minutes. By bicycle it takes 5 minutes. Take the station exit on the north-east side and exit onto Zuiderweg. Continue on the Larenseweg and go straight ahead. Pass the traffic circle and keep following the road. At the Den Uylplein intersection, cross at the traffic lights. You will find us in the Service Station.

By car (from all directions)

Take the A1 in the direction of Hilversum and take exit 9, Laren/Hilversum Noord. Drive in the direction of Hilversum Noord (Hilversumseweg N525). This road turns into the Larenseweg. Follow this road and drive into Hilversum. Keep right when getting in the lane for the intersection. About 100 meters before the traffic lights you will see our flag and Service Station. You can immediately turn right into our own parking lot.

Parking

Our own parking lot provides ample parking so we ask that you do not park in the neighborhood parking lots. If we expect many visitors, we will provide alternative parking instructions. Two charging stations for electric cars are available on our property.

Tip: Coming from the A27, enter Erfgooiersstraat 7 as the address on your navigation system. This will take you to the back of our building, where you can enter our own parking lot.

The Fresh Forward Service Station is a special, creative venue. Once a gas station, now a unique municipal monument, fully equipped to stimulate creativity and collaboration in people. During the trajectories we welcome you in our creative (t)house and you experience our spaces and hospitality. We also offer the possibility to rent our Service Station for business meetings.

Our Service Station is a great example of how we look at environments. With our Forward Spaces model, we develop visions for attractive environments for working, living or recreation, in which people are central. Because we believe that an environment can have an enormous positive impact on the well-being of people and organizations.
