About iCare and Care Group Meander
Icare and Zorggroep Meander are two healthcare organizations that provide nursing home care in the eastern part of the Netherlands. Leading up to their merger, they want to work together on a shared vision for future-proof and humane nursing home care, focused on security and supported living.
CHALLENGE
The two organizations wanted to develop a joint future story that would create energy and support. This story had to appeal both internally and externally, connect and serve as a foundation for further elaboration and development of the new approach to future-proof their nursing home care.
ADDRESS
In an intensive 2.5-day process (a "pressure cooker") we worked from inspiration and social trends to a shared vision. Inspiration and insights were gained with a broad group. Then a team of ambassadors built the story, which was later enriched with input from colleagues. Thus EigenThuis came into being: a vision from urgency, desire and conviction.
RESULT
The process led to EigenThuis: a clear and unifying future vision of nursing home care, including a powerful proposition, values, and initial ideas for communication and activation. In addition, a strong team of ambassadors was formed that continues to build on future-proof nursing home care with energy and conviction.
