About Hart van Heteren
Heteren is a village on the Lower Rhine River. Heteren is located in the Dutch province of Gelderland northwest of Nijmegen, southwest of Arnhem and southeast of Wageningen. Heteren has over 5,000 inhabitants and has been part of the Municipality of Overbetuwe since January 1, 2001.
Challenge
Heteren; a village with a rich history without a village heart of and for its residents.
Approach
Together with the village council, an inspired team of residents, and entrepreneurs, we worked on a vibrant village heart. In a creative process, together we came up with a lively and inspiring vision and plan to make the heart of Heteren beat. In doing so, we used our Futurise® trend model that provides insight into the mechanisms of future developments that will have a significant impact on people's behavior.
