About Bilderberg
Bilderberg is a hotel group with eleven unique locations in the Netherlands and Germany. From castles and estates in the countryside to city hotels in the middle of bustling cities: always with the promise of top-level hospitality and service. The more than 600 employees are the beating heart of the organization and make every stay unforgettable.
Challenge
The market and guest needs are changing rapidly. How does Bilderberg remain a magnet for guests and staff? And how does the vision of Food & Beverages (F&B) take shape in leadership and behavior? The central question: how do we translate our vision of the future into a lived practice that can be felt throughout the organization?
approach
Fresh Forward and LUNAR Institute guided an intensive process with general managers, management team, works council, communications, finance, operations and 130 employees. Together they worked on a future vision for the entire hotel group and specifically for F&B. In follow-up sessions the focus was on leadership: not just understanding, but really living the vision and values and making them visible in behavior and choices.
Result
Leadership and ownership as a foundation for growth
Bilderberg deliberately chose an approach from the inside out: first build culture, leadership and ownership, and only then communicate externally. The result is a solid foundation on which the hotel group continues to grow.
